I develop my design concepts with the aid of computerized 3-D modeling. This technology allows me to accurately assess the ramifications of design decisions as I make them and to evaluate a design with respect to shade and shadow at any time of the year.  3-D modeling also helps me to communicate the design because it can display a concept to my client--or to the building contractor and subcontractors--in true perspective, from any angle and at any distance.  The program can depict interior spaces as well, and display their details close-up.  I produce all construction drawings using AutoCAD (computer aided drafting) which enables me to more quickly incorporate design changes at any stage in the drawing process.
